Training

Training and capacity building activities

When considering Europe as a unit of 27 different countries as well as some neighbouring countries it seems obvious that different levels of expertise exist in the individual countries.

This seems to be on the one hand side a hurdle for a harmonisation process but on the other hand it offers the great possibility to share experiences and to balance sooner or later the expertise in Europe.

Needs for training and capacity building will be identified and training modules for recruitment and sample collection, sample handling, analysis, biobanking, data analysis and interpretation, ethics and  communication will be developed.  The training activities required on a general level as well as on a more specific level for the pilot study will be supported.
