Publication on cost of actual exposure of Europeans to mercury based on DEMOCOPHES results

The DEMOCOPHES results on mercury were used for an economic calculation of the cost of the actual exposure of Europeans to this widespread heavy metal. The scientific publication was issued in January 2013, a week before the voting on the Mercury Treaty in the United Nations and received a lot of attention.
